Our stay at Belle Cottage was absolutely lovely. The cottage was warm and cozy when we arrived, and it was spotlessly clean. The Sainsbury's nearby was a convenient plus for any last-minute necessities.
One thing that could have been improved was the absence of hand soap in the bathroom and laundry detergent for the washing machine. It would have been a nice touch to have those provided.

The location of the cottage was ideal, with stunning views and just a short walk away from the charming town center. the cottage itself was clean, modern, and well-furnished, providing a comfortable stay for our family of four. We especially appreciated the detailed house manual and effective central heating system, ensuring that we were cozy throughout our stay. the nearby fish shop was a delightful find, offering delicious options for a meal.
The lack of provided toiletries, which is something we usually expect from accommodations.

The cottage was modern, clean, and well-furnished with lovely views. The location was perfect, offering a close drive to Alton Towers and easy exploration of the surrounding areas. The nearby town was pretty and just a few minutes' walk away, with a delightful fish shop worth visiting.
There were some small inconveniences during my stay. The steep steps at both entrances could be a challenge for some guests.

I really appreciated the charming decor of Belle Cottage. The traditional furnishings and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were clean and well-maintained. Being a senior woman, I found the accessibility of the hotel to be excellent. There were no steep steps to navigate and the layout was well-suited for older guests like myself.
I would have liked to see a few more options for activities specifically tailored for senior people. Perhaps some organized outings or social events.

Had a good laugh at the fact that the terrace is available for guests to use. Can't believe I experienced the luxury of a seating area in this holiday home. Absolutely mind-blowing!
Oh, how I wish I had a tin opener and coaster mats for my hot drinks! How will I ever survive without them?

The terrace at this place is just delightful, perfect for lounging and enjoying the sunshine. And the seating area in the bungalow is so cozy and comfortable, I could have stayed there all day.
Oh, how I just loved going up and down those flights of stairs with uneven steps. Such a fun little challenge for someone like me with mobility problems.

The location was mind-blowing, just a short walk into town with stunning views of the surrounding hills. We were jaw-droppingly impressed with the cleanliness and modern furnishings of the cottage. The off-road parking was super convenient and the complementary breakfast cereals and biscuits were a delightful surprise. The neighborhood was quiet and our friendly neighbors even welcomed our dog. The nearby Green Man Pub and local Chinese Takeaway were both top-notch. Our teenagers were in heaven and the cottage was perfectly situated for exploring the area, including a short drive to Alton Towers. Ashbourne itself was incredibly pretty, with a charming fish shop that is definitely worth a visit. The owners were extremely responsive and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a more satisfying stay!
